Day 4 | Wednesday, April 8

Day 4 | Wednesday, April 8

The Spirit glorifies and testifies of Christ (John 15:26; 16:14).

Reflection:

The ultimate, driving ambition of the Holy Spirit is not to draw attention to Himself, but to continually magnify and testify of the Resurrected King. Any authentic charismatic experience, prophetic word, or expression of supernatural ministry will inherently result in a deeper reverence, love, and awe for Jesus Christ. At Glorify Church, we believe that our very first ministry is directed toward God Himself, expressed through extravagant joy, worship, and gratitude. The Spirit fuels this worship by constantly revealing the majesty of the Son.

When the Spirit is truly at work within a community, Jesus remains the absolute, central figure of every gathering. The Spirit acts as a divine spotlight, illuminating the beauty of Christ’s sacrifice, the absolute supremacy of His lordship, and the unmatched power of His blood. As we move through our day, we must partner with the Spirit by asking how our specific actions, conversations, and attitudes can serve to elevate the name of Jesus and testify to His goodness in the Adelaide Hills.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I ask that You would fill me with an overwhelming desire to glorify Jesus in everything I do today. Let my words, my actions, and my hidden thoughts serve as a continuous testimony of His grace and absolute supremacy.

Keep my eyes fixed entirely on the Resurrected King. Whenever I am tempted to seek glory for myself or rely on my own strength, gently redirect my focus back to the cross, filling my heart with extravagant joy and gratitude. Amen.
