Day 15 | Sunday, April 19

Day 15 | Sunday, April 19

The Spirit washes and renews us (Titus 3:5).

Reflection: The daily journey of faith requires constant, intentional cleansing from the degradation, stress, and cynicism of the fallen world. The Holy Spirit provides a perpetual washing and renewal of our minds, ensuring that our inner spirits remain highly sensitive to the presence of God and completely undefiled by cultural compromises. Without this regular washing, we easily become hardened, apathetic, and exhausted by the constant bombardment of negative news and worldly demands.

This continuous renewal is absolutely essential for maintaining the extravagant joy and deep gratitude that defines our primary ministry to God. When the Spirit washes us, He clears away the spiritual debris of yesterday—the offenses, the small compromises, the lingering doubts—and restores our perspective to align with heaven. Today, invite the Holy Spirit to run the pure water of the Word over your mind. Allow Him to scrub away any creeping cynicism or bitterness, leaving you refreshed, completely renewed, and ready to worship with an unburdened heart.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I bring my mind and my heart to You for a fresh washing today. Run the pure water of Your truth over my soul, and completely cleanse me from the cynicism, stress, and spiritual debris of the world.

Renew my perspective and restore to me the extravagant joy of my salvation. Keep my heart incredibly soft and sensitive to Your presence, so that I may continually offer You pure worship without the burden of lingering offenses or doubts. Amen.
