Day 30 | Monday, May 4

Day 30 | Monday, May 4

The Spirit supplies us with Christ (Phil. 1:19).

Reflection:

There are moments in every believer’s life when our human resources, our emotional stability, and our physical energy are completely exhausted by the relentless demands of life, ministry, or severe trial. In these moments of total depletion, the Holy Spirit provides an emergency, sustaining supply of divine grace. He directly channels the presence, the strength, and the highly resilient mindset of Jesus Christ into our immediate, overwhelming circumstances.

Because the Spirit supplies us with Christ, we are never truly empty, even when we feel entirely poured out. The resilient life of the Savior becomes our actual operating system, ensuring we have exactly what is required to overcome present adversity, maintain our witness, and love our enemies. When you hit the wall today and feel you cannot take another step or handle another crisis, stop striving. Breathe deeply and ask the Spirit to supply you with the inexhaustible life of Christ.

Prayer:

Lord, I admit that my human resources are entirely exhausted and I am feeling overwhelmed by the demands of this season. I ask that the Holy Spirit would directly channel the resilient life and strength of Jesus Christ into my immediate circumstances.

Supply me with the grace I lack. Let the inexhaustible life of the Savior become my operating system today, giving me exactly what I need to overcome adversity, maintain my peace, and love those who are difficult to love. Amen.
